Dr. Charles Kenneth Sutton grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. He completed his Medical Degree through the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr Sutton is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. For the past few years he has been practicing in the Dallas/ Fortworth area.

He recently married Abigail Urish MD, who was contracted to begin working at Rangely District Hospital in 2015 and they decided that he would follow her to Rangely to start their new life together.

Dr. Sutton considers himself fortunate to be a graduate from a hands on residency where he was able to learn and become comfortable doing a wide range of procedures. He believes Rangely will offer a wide variety of small town medicine opportunities. He is excited to be able to help the hospital provide for the needs of the community in Ambulatory, Inpatient and Emergency settings.

In his free time, Dr. Sutton enjoys spending time with family. As an outdoor enthusiast, he is looking forward to camping, exploring Colorado, visiting the national parks, star-gazing and just spending more quality time with his wife Abbie.
